Join Stage North as we kick off the 2016-17 theatre and school season with this delightfully biting comedy about a pair of parents having a meltdown in the living room.

Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, God of Carnage relates an evening in the lives of two couples, who meet to discuss a playground incident. Alan and Annette’s son hit Michael and Veronica’s son in the face with a stick, resulting in two broken teeth. The four of them agree to discuss the incident civilly, but, as the night wears on and drinks are imbibed, the polite veneer breaks down.

Contains coarse language.

Recommended for ages 16 and older.

"A rancidly funny account of two couples tiptoeing around their mutual dislike." —The Guardian

"Delivers the cathartic release of watching other people's marriages go boom." —The New York Times

"Cannily manipulates social observations that appeal to vast audiences and creates characters that bring out the best in actors." —NY Newsday

This show is presented at the Evangel Chapel. General seating only. Tickets available at the North Peace Cultural Centre Box Office and Marc Joseph's Menswear in Totem Mall.
